Does anyone else's LO have colic? Our sweet girl (6 wks) was up from 11 pm to 7:45 am screaming ): We tried everything, and after a Dr. call and 8 am visit he just said to try different things. Any suggestions on what has worked for you?

p.s. it was a relief nothing is physically wrong, just so sad to hear her so upset and inconsolable ):

I'm in the same boat as well. LO is up from 12-3am almost every day for the past 2 weeks.

We've done the 5Ss minus the sucking as well.

Yup. We have a totally miserable baby from 8 or 9 pm to midnight. Sometimes nothing works. Sometimes a car ride works.

I don't think Ds has officially reached colic but we have been having issues. I just started him on probiotics - biogaia but there is also udo and jarrow. And they seem to be helping much more than gripe water. I am also cutting out dairy. GL

Yep. It peaks between 6-8 wks and then starts getting better. We do the 5 S's (from The Happiest Baby on the Block - I highly recommend reading it asap if you haven't. It explains a lot.) When the swaddling, etc doesn't work, Gripe Water is a miracle worker for our LO. You can find it at Walgreens and other pharmacies. Hang in there and keep reminding yourself it will be better in a few weeks.

We started our little guy on probiotics and it's done wonders. We were using gas drops and they helped a bit, but not like the probiotics have helped.

Thank y'all so much! I will definitely read Happiest Baby on the Block, and am looking for Probiotic drops (I didn't find them at wal-mart)!

I usually just lurk here, but my son has had some very fussy evenings and I also suggest Happiest baby on the block and the 5 S's. Also, I downloaded a free app on my phone called baby soother and it has been awesome - it gets his attention and calms him down far faster than my shushing can. Worth a shot!
