Nursery Ideas

Anyone have any ideas for decorating a nursery in an apartment where you can't paint the walls?

    Try looking here. They have some really cute ideas, a lot of them you could do without paint.

    BTW, You might want to double check, but most apartments will let you paint the walls if you paint them back to primer white when you move.

    We live in a rental house and can't paint our walls either. There's a link in my siggie to my blog with pictures of our bedding. A good friend is planning to paint a canvas of the same elephant to hang above the dresser. I'm going to decoupage  "Will" letters to hang above his crib. Then we're going to get  very thin wood, cut it in circles of different sizes and paint them green and brown. Those are going to go on either side of the crib.

    I'd love to get a rug to put in the room to add some more color. We'll also do a green with brown trim valence for the window, some green canvas buckets for under the changing table.

    It's not ideal, but I think it'll be very cute and cozy!

    Lots of pictures on the walls, maybe a decorative blanket on the wall and wall stickers.

    You can find so many cute wall decals and artwork on etsy. I was shocked by how cheap some of the decals are. There was an adorable circular scroll that had the baby's name in it for only $12.

    We are going to buy some things from there to spice up our mocha walls that we are not painting.
