I think we are finally weaned from BF

I had to make the hard decision of weaning Kiya completely from breast feeding. It was a hard decision but I think it was the right one. For the last 2 months we have been down to one feeding at nap time but once I got pregnant she wanted to be on the boob all the time and sometimes she would be on for over an hour. It just got to the point where it was making me sore, I was feeling sick when she was breast feeding and I just couldn't keep up with her. So on Sat I cut her off completely and it was the hardest day for the both of us! She screamed, cried, pulled on my shirt and pretty muched begged for most of the day, it was pure torture but I held my ground. Each day after that it has gotten easier with a few short melt downs. 

My goal was 18 months and we made it 3 days past so I'm pretty proud of myself. Its such a bittersweet feeling but I know in my heart that this is what's best for both of us. I at least can have my boobs back for another 8 months lol
