Holy Boobs!!!

Sorry. I know this one comes up a lot and maybe its not as bad as I think, but ...??

I was a little bit floored today when I decided to buy new bras. I'm barely 16 weeks PG and I've grown from a 34C to a 36DD. My mom says to do upper body exercises and keep my bras tight, but I was uncomfortable, itchy, and irritated from it, so I got a few new ones. I just hope the growth slows down a bit, if not I'll just be huge.

    good luck lol ive had to buy a couple different size bras i went from a 34b to a 36 d and on the 36 d i have a bra extender on at the furthest clip!

    Just thinking about it, makes my boobs hurt.  You poor thing, I can't imagine what its goin to be like when the milk comes.

    Thanks. Glad to see I'm not overreacting. I was a 36D until a year ago when I lost a bunch of weight. Today, all I could say to my mom was, what the hell would've happened if I didn't do that. ?

    I started at a 36DDD.  I'm much more worried about what will happen when my milk comes in than the actual giving birth part...

    Poplin, I'd be worried if I were you too. GL with that. I just hope for your sake, you don't end up growing an additional cup size post-baby. My mom said with each of us she went up a cup size. Being that she's only a C now (she's since lost some weight), I can't imagine where my boobs came from ... lol.?

    hahaha thanks!  I'm really hoping that since they're so big the milk will have plenty of room.  I don't know that that's even possible, but I'm going to keep on hoping.

    I'm anxiously awaiting they day when we're done having babies so I can get a reduction.

    I went from a 34b to a 38d with an extender by the time I gave birth to DS. The day I fit back into my 34B bras, I celebrated. It was during that pg when I got over any desires I ever had for larger boobs. I now truly appreciated my smaller ones (when I have them back, anyway).

    I feel your pain!  I was a 36c/36d pre-pregnancy and the other day I went shopping for new bras...38dd DOESN'T FIT! I had to go online to order 40dd full coverage bras...I'm scared to see what happens when my milk comes in.  To think I wanted breast implants in my early 20's...thank goodness I came to my senses!
