round ligament pain in 1st trimester?

Is it possible? everything I read says it starts in 2nd trimester... last night i got up quickly out of bed to go to the bathroom and i stopped in my tracks bc of sharp pain in my right side where ovary is (like a cyst bursting). It only lasted a couple seconds and then i was fine. NO bleeding, NO spotting. Just worried me. I will be 8 weeks tomorrow and my 1st dr apt. is monday. This is my 1st pregnancy... can anyone give some advice?

I had one or two twangs in my first tri (but this is my second -- not sure if that makes a difference). It happens if I twist my hips too much, like rolling over in bed. Now at 13.5 weeks, I get it often, but only in bed so far.

My second also and I've had it if I move too fast.

when i move fast i definitely feel a pulling and have to slow down immediately. like, standing up from the couch, or rolling over in bed. almost like whiplash in my belly.

This is my third and i've felt these as well. Mainly if I get up too quickly from sitting, and in bed.

This is my second and I started feeling it weeks ago. I asked my OB about to make sure I wasn't crazy cakes and she did say that with your second it can start way sooner.

I didn't even know what round ligament pain really was.... I never had it with my first. 6 weeks along with my second, and I've had it a handful of times. Like PP said, mostly when I'm getting up from a sitting/laying/squatting position. I've now learned to stand up more gracefully!

Yeah it happens in the first tri I've been having them for a couple weeks. There were a couple days that they were pretty bad but not it's just occasionally or when I move too quickly

I had this issue on Monday night---it was horrible. Seriously was about to make DH take me to the hospital. I stuck it out until morning and the pains were gone when I woke up. When I got to work I asked two of the other women here who are pregnant. They said what I was feeling was completely normal. Call the doctor to just be sure and they said the same thing. Another joy of being pregnant!
