I'm actually sad that this person died

I just saw on yahoo that Nora Ephron died. Most of the time I just brush it off but My favorite movie of all time is When Harry met Sally. I also lurve Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail.

Hmm Maybe it's that I really love Meg Ryan?

    This one affected me, too.  She was a fabulous writer and an empowering speaker.  Her 1996 Wellesley commencement speech was one I taught as a part of a rhetoric unit. 

    My favorite section is the end, of course:

    "Whatever you choose, however many roads you travel, I hope that you choose not to be a lady. I hope you will find some way to break the rules and make a little trouble out there. And I also hope that you will choose to make some of that trouble on behalf of women. Thank you. Good luck. The first act of your life is over. Welcome to the best years of your lives."

     

    That is fvckings brilliant! Said in a very unlady like way ;)

    Me too!  She was a great writer and You've Got Mail is my absolute favorite chick flick.
