Change in bleeding 3 wk pp

A bit TMI but wondering. For the past few days my bleeding has really changed. It's normally only when I go to the bathroom & it's just a little bit of blood (that ends up in the toilet) & then when I wipe there's quite a bit of what I'm guessing is very light brownish discharge. A little bit is on the pad & sometimes I can't even tell if it's blood or the weird discharge! Is this normal? I know bleeding changes eventually but I didn't expect it to happen this soon. I haven't had heavy bleeding since I left the hospital. And I did have a c/s so I wasn't sure if that had anything to do with it.

  • I had a c/s also, and mine changed back and forth for 6 wks. It would go from brownish discharge (like old blood mixed with discharge), to bright red light blood on a pad, to barely anything at all, and then back through the list again. So what your having sounds pretty normal to me, but you can always call your Gyn if you're worried.

this. I am 6 wks pp and started bleeding again a few days ago. It can be heavier if you are over doing it so listen to your body.

  • Normal. I did the same...

The only thing that you should be alarmed about is pain, lots of blood (soaking pad within an hour), or large blood clots coming out.

What is happening to you sounds completely normal.
