Decided last day at work

So excited and just wanted to share :)  I am due July 27-was intending to work up until I go into labor as I have been one of the lucky ones who has had a great pregnancy (knock on wood!!)  However for the past week I have selfishly thought I wanted a week or 2 off before LO arrives just to relax, enjoy some down-time, get some last minute things done around the house (final cleaning, laundry, cooking casserols to freeze, etc etc etc).  I talked to my hubs about it and he was on board totally supported it!!  YAY-since my time off while on leave will be unpaid.  Told my boss about it and she was totally cool with it and then asked if I would be willing to work from home part-time until I go into labor....um HELL YES!!  You mean I still get paid and only have to work part-time so still have time to relax, and get *** done :)

 So my last full-time day is Friday the 13th.  Thanks for letting me share!

    DH and I decided the same thing.  I'm due the 12th and the 6th is my last day.  I can't wait!!! 8 DAYS!!!

    Awesome!! 

    I'm due July 23 and like you planned to work up until I delivered.  But I'm so tired and it is getting hard to concentrate and I'd love to just eliminate all the work stress from my life (selfishly).  So I blocked my calendar a week before my due date so that no one could set meetings (usually I have 15-20 hours of meeting per week).  I'll be available and will get some things done...from home...but don't plan on working a full day.

    Funny thing is that my work allows us to take 2 weeks of prior to our due date, paid.  But I just don't feel that is necessary.  I'm 36 weeks now...maybe when I'm 38 weeks I'll feel a whole lot differently!  :)

    I'm due July 30 (but Dr. thinks I'll have baby by July 20 Big Smile) and I have been thinking very selfish lately too!  I do get paid time off for most of the 12 weeks which is really nice!

    I'm thinking about going on leave at 38 weeks, unless I have baby by then!

    Good for you!! I would love to be able to work from home!!
