Miscarriage Symptoms: Bleeding First or Cramping?

I've been having some crampy feelings yesterday and today, but no spotting or anything. I am totally paranoid that something bad could be happening.

For those of you who have had miscarriages - did the bleeding start first or the cramping?

I've always had mild cramping on and off during my pregnancies. With my first miscarriage I had bright red bleeding with no cramping and then an episode of massive bleeding and slight cramping. With my second miscarriage I never had bleeding or cramping, just an ultrasound at 10 weeks that told us our baby had stopped developing.

Hopefully your cramping is just normal pregnancy stretching.

bleeding started first for me...not a lot but I was on meds too so once I got off of that it was totally bleeding after 2 days of not being on endometrin.

Thanks so much for your responses girls. This made me feel a lot better. It's just hard after struggling with IF for so long to not second guess every ache and pain.

With all 4 pregnancies, I have had cramping, and some spotting. With the m/c, the spotting got heavier over 3 days, then turned bright red. After that, I started getting worsening cramping, and it was over. With the other 3, the spotting just hung around for a while then went away. Never found a reason for it - apparently I am just a spotter!
