Question about breast feeding second kid.

For those of you with more then one was your production the same with all your babies. With DD I always felt like I was struggling to produce enough. For example when I pumped I would get about 2 ounces on each side. Did you notice changes second or more time around?

I had an oversupply with DD1 for a long time. With DD2 it stabilized a little bit faster. Overall I'd say my supply was similar.

Just about every person I know who struggled to BF the first time had no issues the second time around (in the supply department, anyway).

Unfortunately, not the case for me. I never had my milk come in either time.

I didn't even bother pumping the 2nd time because I got nothing w/ DS1. At first it seemed like I had more supply but at 5 months it seemed like I had an issue and I stopped bfing. But not just for supply reasons. He was also suddenly having digestive issues and it was taking too much time away from my toddler.

I definitely struggled more with DS, but I think it had a lot to do with the fact that DD would NOT take any formula. I could not skip any pumping sessions for her like I could with DS when I could give him the occasional formula bottle.

Very similar. My supply tanked with both around 2 months old.

Much easier with my second. I knew what I was doing and had a much better supply.

I had a halfassed amount of milk with my first, and an even worse supply of milk the second time around. Completely dried up by 2-3 mos.

Mine has been about the same with both, it tanked when I got my period back.
