Just curious if anyone else has run into this:
I have a well-loved pair of Oh Baby Jeans marketed by Motherhood Maternity. They are XL for my large thighs. I just bought a newer pair in a dark wash online for a dressier look and received them today. They are a good 3" shorter! (Plus the thighs are tighter, but that may need some breaking in). I have no idea how old the original pair are, but both are sized XL, there's no petite marking on the new jeans (and I certainly would not have bought them if they were marketed as such) and there is nothing indicating "long" on my old pair.
They aren't overly short (ankle, but they don't cover the shoes/heels like I had hoped for the dressier, polished look. They will end up being more casual with sandals at this length.
Side note: anyone know of a good (but inexpensive) pair of jeans with wide thighs? Liz Lange for target are too narrow and won't stay on my hips when they do finally make it over my thighs. TIA
Re: New Oh Baby (Motherhood) Jeans shorter than older versions?
After a website and inseam comparison, I was sold a 'petite' size jean. I'm so done...
