leap frog toy question

can someone tell me what assessories are needed for this toy? I'm currently looking into getting "my pal scout/violet" for my LO.

also, if your LO has this...how much do they like it? how do you like it?

    We love Violet. No Accessories needed. It comes with the cable to use with your computer to change up songs. P goes through spirts of dragging it everywhere to not touching it.

    In love with Violet here. 99% of noisy toys make me nuts, but I like that Violet doesn't repeat herself often and you can change songs. I was also pleasantly surprised when dd4's name was in the list and pronounced correctly.

    that's good that accessories aren't needed. so it just plays various songs that you load from the computer onto the toy? can you make it do anything else?

    sorry, i'm not too familiar with this toy...and don't want to get more toys for LO that he will outgrow quickly...thanks.

    We have Scout and he's great. No accessories. I loved the "10 minutes of bedtime music" when Mac was younger. Now he'll occasionally pick up Scout and play with him, especially so he can dance to the music.

    It has a website that has different songs to choose from, you can program your LO's name in it and select their favorite foods, animal, color. It's really cute because you can change it up all the time if/when you get tired of the songs.

    That's really all it does. but we love it.

    The MyPals are our go-to first birthday gift.  No accessories needed, other than to download the software on your comp.  All the babies I've gotten them for have loved them.

    We LOVE Violet.  It comes with the USB cable so you hook it up and go through their choices of songs, favourite things, etc. to personalize it.  DD gets Violet given to her when a tantrum begins and she'll curl up with her on the carpet with the "2 minutes of bedtime music" going.  So far it's worked!
