I think we're waiting until we see the heartbeat but we keep going back and forth. When did you tell people and why? Did you tell close friends before you told your less close friends?
I told family the day I got my bfp. ?Several friends over those next few days. ?I managed to wait a week and a half to tell work friends. ?I've asked the work friends to not spread the gossip until after our ultrasound which will be at 8 weeks. ?

We told immediate family almost right away - within the first couple of weeks. We didn't tell friends until 13 weeks. A couple of my girl friends and a couple teachers I work with knew earlier, but we decided to tell the majority after the 1st tri.

I think that's prob what we will do.

We told parents & siblings at 5 weeks, and waited to tell everyone else at 8 weeks after seeing the heartbeat.
I told my Executive Director at 8 weeks, and told the rest of work at 9 weeks after seeing the 2nd u/s.
To be honest, we don't regret telling people. It sucks to un-tell, but the support we have received has been incredible & touching. The next time, we'll tell family immediately & probably wait until....Lord, I don't know. It depends. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
With DS, we told close friends (like 2) around 6 weeks and immediate family around 5 weeks. We didn't tell work or anyone else until 12 weeks. We are planning to do the same this time around too.
