Seriously. Yesterday, it was 75 degrees and wonderful here. Thursday it's going to be 102. North of Chicago. Bah.
This.
I'm only about 3 hours north of you and it's been sunny and beautiful for the past few days. We had rain last week which cooled things off a little but now I hear it's supposed to be hot again for a few days (90+)
Hot, humid and a drought here in Southern Illinois. I have one crabby fiance thanks to it. I am thinking about performing a rain dance this evening because the crops will start dying soon without rain!
haha. I'm in Tampa, FL and a lot of our neighborhoods and roads are battling flooding right now.
My house has been fine but others that I know have not been so lucky.
My dad's family all lives in the Tampa area (Largo/Clearwater/Pinallas Park) and I just talked to my grandparents Sunday. They said it is raining cats and dogs there! Would love for some of that rain here...hell maybe even all of it!
your forecast looks real similar to mine, and I live in eastern TN..not sure what you're humidity level is predicted to be, but i'm sure ours will be high enough you can almost cut the air with a knife...man I hate the south in the summer!
We've had 100+ every day for 2 weeks - and FIRES across the whole friggin state. So, the sky is yellow & smells & no one can safely be outside after about 10. I went to an evening family BDay on Saturday and it was still 102 at 7:30pm - ugh!!

So weird. We're so close. Except that we're in the city, and away from the lake, so it's usually extremely hot by the house. I hate this jump in temperature. It's like, make up your mind already!
Our temp are below average for this time of year. Yesterday was 76, and today it will get to maybe 82. And they are guessing 90 for the rest of the week. We are also "lucky" that we don't have any sort of crazy humidity.
I'm located in Northern California (not the bay area though).
High 80s, Low 90s but thankfully I get to be in an air conditioned hospital all day! Usually I'm bundled up with thick fleece sweaters but since I've been pregnant, it's perfect for me, I"m always just comfy - never cold .
It is 97 with a heat index of 101 at noon in Tulsa. I have strict instructions from my bf that I am not to be outside at all from 11 am until 7pm. I am already going stir crazy!
Ok so I always thought Texas was the hottest but then I read on here and think we're just as hot as anybody else. I've been getting out for a walk at 8 in the morning before the heat hits too bad.
I LOVE the heat and am a little jealous of all you ladies! I thrive in 100+ heat... except I'm not sure how I'd do it it while I'm pregnant.
I'm in So Central California just inland from the beach and it's going to be mid-low 80's all week!!
I'm excited for Fall here, though because it gets into the 100's during the day and FREEZING at night (like in the 20's) all within a matter of a few weeks! Hooray!
Yikes! It's supposed to be in the 90's for like 2 days this week I think - but not all week like you guys! Drink lots o' water and keep those feet up when you can mama!
Meh. I keep saying 2 things: 1. We made it this far into June this year without these temps. Last year, by the end of May, we were already several weeks into the 100+* mark, and 2. I feel so badly for those who have to work outside (construction workers, as an example) and those who have no other options (the homeless).

It was 107 today in central Texas and the library I work at is having trouble with the air conditioner. It got up to 86 degrees in part of the building today. My sweet husband brought me a fan.
Re: This can't be good for the baby.
106 here today in the Oklahoma City area. They are predicting 100+ temps through next week.

I checked the weather while I was eating my cereal this morning, and it already was at 93. Remind me again why we live in TX?
I'm sure I could think of something if I weren't so damn hot.
The complete opposite! Rain, rain, and more rain.

Stay safe! We might be getting some of that rain later this week, so hopefully you'll get some relief.

I think all of us in TX were hoping that Debbie would head this way instead.
It was 104 in Austin yesterday, supposed to hit 108 today.
HAHA I'm right next door to you over here in LA and it's 98 across the board for the next week... not to mention the humidity is killer. Dislike.
65F at the moment.
Mid-70s tomorrow.
Mid-80s to round out the week.

LOL!!!! I told my husband the same thing!!!
I have family and friends in Tampa and Orlando. Head for higher land if ya gotta, and jump in the boats!
I used to live on the Texas/Mexico border. Its just as hot here as it was there.
Oh. This me. I got a new account cause my maiden name was weird to see. Lol

Yesterday was so nice and a bit chilly. Today's pretty awesome also. Thursday, I'm not leaving the house!
It's supposed to be 110+ all week here haha 111 today but we're used to it here in AZ
I guess I shouldn't be complaining but it's 60, cloudy and rainy here and 85 degrees is sounding pretty good to me!

I'm going to go cry myself to sleep and dream that I'm experiencing the 80-100 degree whether like everyone else.
