Shower Host Gift

I would really like to get my friend a really nice Thank You gift for hosting my baby shower. She has been my best friend for 15 years and I can't thank her enough. Any ideas? What are you buying? I don't mind spending alittle money on this gift, so all ideas welcome.

I generally do a nice box of chocolates--everyone seems to like chocolate. For such a close friend, something more personal might be better.

There were several hosts and helpers for my shower. I went into the city this weekend to a great bead store and picked up a bunch of charms that represent something of interest to each of them. I'm making keychains, necklaces, and bracelets with them.

That's adorable! I had my shower over the weekend and took my mom out to breakfast the next day and my best friend for pedicures. I liked getting to spend more time with them, too, rather than just a gift certificate.

I got them on etsy and they have a TON of different bottles melted. Even liquor ones. I even got two extra for my mom and MIL's bdays.

Those are awesome! I bought my MIL and SIL Infinity scarves but if I hadn't already I would soooo get those!

My shower is being hosted jointly by my Mom, Stepmom, and SIL, and being held at a restaurant in a private room. I'm just getting each of them a corsage for the day of, probably some local chocolates, and then handwriting thank you notes. Family and regional cultures seem to differ on this one, but since yours is hosted by your best friend, I'd try to do something personal, like PP said.

I just had to come back and see what other peoples ideas were and there are some really good ones! My folks are throwing me one shower and I love the wine bottle cheese plate for them. Two girlfriends (they are sisters) are throwing my "friends shower" and I think I will do spa treatments for them still. I like the beading idea but don't think I would ever get it done in time!
