IUI / TI Ladies...when did you O?

I usually post on 3T, but I'm trying to gain a little insight based on real experiences. What CD did you O on your bfp cycle?

I'm an early surger on meds - CD10ish - so my RE is adding Ganirelix to delay my surge. I've read it could help the egg quality, because early O'ers may have poorer quality eggs. Just curious what everyone else's experience had been.

TIA and wishing you all the best of luck in your pregnancies!

I had a 24 and 18 follie on CD12 I triggered right then and O'd on CD14 on my bfp cycle. I also triggered on CD12 and O'd on CD14 the cycle before. Both were on 5mg Femara. It can also be hard to implant when you O earlier. The first cycle of Femara my lining was a little thin and the second cycle my lining happened to be better. Good Luck! I hope your cysts go away and you have a better time on Femara.

    Hi Native!

On my BFP cycle I triggered on 12 (at night) and so probably O'd on 14 (I don't temp, but they told me it would be two days later).

The cycle before that I didn't O until day 23, but I used a lower dose of Clomid and needed 5 Gonal-f shots to get my follie mature enough...

Good luck good luck good luck!

Hey there! My last cycle I took 100mg Clomid days 3-7, then had an ultrasound on day 12. The nurse called to tell me I had four lead follies (2 per side) and to trigger on day 15. So therefore I probably O'd on day 16 (since I triggered the evening of day 15). We had TI O-1, 12 hours after trigger, then 24 hours after trigger. I am 9 weeks with twins. Hope this helps!! I am wishing the best for you!!!!

Thanks, ladies! I appreciate your feedback.

I had intended to bring up my early surge, but luckily my RE beat me to it and added the Ganirelix. I'm hoping it will delay O enough to give my lining some time to thicken up and give me some quality eggs. We're also nixing Clomid so maybe that'll give my lining an extra boost.

    Thanks, again!

I used 5mg Femara/Letrozole, and O'ed on CD18.  If you're wanting to thicken up your lining, drink 100% pomegranate (POM) juice from the start of your cycle through ovulation.  It really helps.

I've been looking for you!  I always triggered on CD14 and IUI on CD16.

Best of luck on your upcoming cycle!

    I triggered on CD14 (9:30 PM) and O'd on CD15. I was using Femara (CD3-7), Follistim (CD8-13), and TI (CD13, 15, & 16, per RE's instructions). I got my BFP 14dpo (CD29).

I didn't have any experience with Ganirelix, but my issue was not early O, it was no O.

Best of luck to you on this cycle!

::waves to CG and tombomb:: Miss you ladies! Well, except you Allie. Wink

So it looks like CD14-16 is the sweet spot, which makes sense. I really hope I can hold off a few days. Last IUI was CD11. I know it's possible that early, but I'd feel so much better about it if it was closer to CD14.

The ganirelix is on back order from the manufacturer so the nurse said we might have to get creative with where we can find some and it'll probably be expensive, but I'm game.

I'll be moseying back over to 3T now. Thanks, again, for all your help!
