I paid my ex a visit

Ex-employer, that is.

DH works for an IT support company, and my former employer is one of their clients. He was working there last week so I decided to pay him a visit and say hi to my old co-workers.

It was nice to see them all again, but it was even nicer that some of them (including one of the VP's) told me they wish I were still there. I have no intention of going back, but still, that was quite the ego boost :D

    Aww, it's the little things that make ya feel good, I totally understand what you are saying!  I never realized how much validation I got from my employer until I decided to SAH.  It's a good feeling to know you are wanted :)  Funny, I just spoke to my ex boss on the phone last week and he was asking if I was interested in coming back.  I had a split second where the idea was exciting, but in reality, that is not something I'm going to do.  But like you said, it's nice to feel wanted!
