Unexpected BFP - 2nd baby

Hello,

I guess I am back! I got two BFP digital tests and a blood test confirmed. This was a little unexpected. We have a 10 month old and were not planning on trying again until later this year.

Anyone out there with kids close in age that can reassure me everything will be okay? I am kind of spazzing.

Congratulations! Try not to freak. The last time I got pregnant I freaked because I would have had two under two, but I ended up having a miscarriage and then worrying that my kids would be too far apart. It's always something.

Congratulations and I'm sure you'll be fine! My good friend has daughters that are only 14 months apart and the youngest is now about 1 1/2 and they are 20 weeks pregnant with baby #3!

I've been looking at the "two under 2" forum a lot lately to reassure myself! DH and I knew we wanted them close together (weren't expecting it this soon but that's okay!) I think there will be pros and cons no matter how close/far apart the siblings are. Congrats!!

I'm in the exact same boat. Found out last week that we are expecting #2. Not even sure how it happened, lol! I am now 5-6 weeks along. Although I am chasing a 10 month old around, I am still as nervous. We have an u/s on Friday. I'm so nervous. Good luck to you. 2 under 2 is going to be a blast

My 2nd was REALLY unplanned. My boys are almost 21 months apart. It was tough, not going to lie. But I survived and obviously had sex again at some point, because we're expecting #3. Smile

My first two are 16 months apart. 1-6. Shock is putting it lightly when I found out I was PG. It took a YEAR for #1 then first cycle out of the gate after stopping breastfeeding I got PG when DD1 was 7 months old.

I won't lie. It really really sucked sometimes. Really. But those times I had to think ahead to the future, knowing they would play, knowing they would hug and kiss each other, knowing they will share things, etc. Last week my girls were sitting on the back porch eating popcorn, dd1 was feeding dd2, saying "Good job baby" and patting her on the back. I could die with how cute it was. A couple days ago my dd2 put a bouncer seat on top of dd1 and jumped on it, both while hysterically laughing.

The good thing is, the baby stuff is all kind of fresh in your mind, you will be more confident with #2, and hopefully it will all go easier for you!

My girls are 18 months apart. Just about the same as your bundles. It's great, really! Your older one will still be taking pretty good naps when LO comes along. Right now, by DD1 is almost 3 and DD2 is 16 months. They play together and learn a lot from each other.
