Monroeville Pediatrician

Can anyone suggest a good, reliable and trustworthy pediatrician in the Monroeville area?  Thanks so much! Smile

I use CCP-GIL practice in Murrysville.  I live in Monroeville but it is on Rt. 22 just inside murrysville by the McDonalds and in the Ferri Pharmacy building. The whole practice is great.  We use Dr. Shaver for both of my sons and he is such a great doctor.  Highly recommend them!  They also have another office in East Liberty in the same building as Trader Joe's.  That site has walkin hours every saturday morning.

  • I use CCP Monroeville.  It's behind Miracle Mile.  I love love love Dr. Varley and Dr. Schott.  Not so fond of the NP and the two female doctors.  In fact I will not see Dr. Falcon at all anymore.

  • I like Dr Varley and Dr Falcon at the Childrens Community Pediatrics. #412-373-1717. 2 friends recommended them and they seem good. My son is 20 days old and they have been with him since the hospital. They are located by the Target in Monroeville. Good luck!---Heidi

Really? How come? Dr. Falcon is actually the only one we've had the best luck with, who didn't look at us like we were starving DD when she was having growth issues as an infant. DH and I are both petite, DD was only 6# 1oz at birth, and she had major issues with colic, reflux and projectile vomiting after every feeding. I mean she spit up A LOT. When she "fell off" the growth chart they lectured us on proper nutrition (like I wasn't already doing my best to get food in her!) and by 18 mths the other female doc (forget her name?) made me take her to Children's for nutrition counseling due to "failure to thrive" because she'd lost weight since her 15mth appt. I left the office crying that day because it's not what she said, but HOW she said it that made me feel like a bad mama. We finally met Dr. Falcon at her 24mth appt and just loved her, she told us she wasn't worried about her size because her stats were properly proportionate and "we were petite, so she will be too." Sorry for rambling! I wasn't too impressed with Varley or Schott.
