First Ultrasound...Feeling So Blessed!

in 1st Trimester

So we had our first ultrasound this morning and I'm still amazed at the little life growing inside of ME! I still can't believe I'm going to be a mommy! I did my urine sample, the Dr. took cultures, then I had the vaginal ultrasound and couldnt control my emotions! The EDD is February 1! Oh then I gave blood and headed home to enjoy my take home photo! Next appointment is July 26!

    I had my first ultrasound last week and I was awe as well. I almost came to tears when I heard the heartbeat.

    After having a morning of bad bleeding, I got choked up when we finally heard the heartbeat.  :)  It is so amazing to know that we have life growing in us, even though we can't see or feel it yet!

    Congrats on the good appointment! I'm jealous too :-( I had my confirmation of pregnancy test today and they just did all the boring not fun stuff, vitals, pee test, drew a ton of blood, pap smear, exam, and a million questions. I'm scheduled to go back in in 3 weeks for my ultrasound.

    Congratulations, what an amazing feeling! My first appointment won't be until I'm almost 10 weeks. Hoping the next few weeks fly by!
    BFP#1: 1/16/2012. EDD: 9/21/2012 CP: 1/18/2012 BFP#2: 6/21/2012. EDD: 3/2/2013. MMC: 7/27/2012 BFP#3: 2/14/2013. EDD: 10/24/2013.

    Congrats!

    My first appointment was blood work, pap and met with the PA.

    My second appointment was LOTS of bloodwork, vaginal ultrasound, met with PA.

    July 3 is our 12 week ultrasound with one of the doctors, looking forward to it!

    Oh, how exciting!  I'm very jealous of your ultrasound and take home photo--I won't get an ultrasound until 12 weeks or so :(

     

    you should request an earlier u/s if you really want one.  my midwife usually doesn't do them until 10 weeks but I just said I wanted to go earlier and now I'm heading in at 8 weeks.

    My first appointment AND ultrasound was on Friday! They took LOTS of blood, asked a million questions, I got my pap done, etc. LOL She tried listening for the heartbeat, but couldn't it and decided I probably wasn't 10w4d like I thought.

    Did an vaginal ultrasound and saw the baby and heartbeat!! I was actually 8w6d. & I'm 9 weeks now :) We got a CD full of all the pictures instead of a printed out one. YAY!!!
