I'll post a full story later, but I just wanted to let you all know we did it! My God is so amazing! I was being prepped for a section after 22+ hours of labor and not making it further than 5 cm, 90% effaced and -3 station. Plus thick meconium in the waters, a fever, and rising heart tones. I was really upset and called an awesome prayer warrior friend of mine who prayed with us. I had asked the on call doctor to just please check once more before the section. Within the last hour, I was complete! Less than 30 minutes of pushes and she was here! Jada Aileen weighed 8 lbs, 7.6 oz. 20.5" long with reddish-orange hair! She's under observation for the meconium and slight temp, but was able to nurse while I was being stitched up (3rd degree, ouch!).

Yeah!! So happy for you. I'm impressed that you had the presence of mind to pray during transition. I was too busy screaming and begging God to stop the pain. Good luck with your recovery.
