Low fetal heart rate

I went in for my first ultrasound thinking id be about 7 weeks but I was 5weeks 6days and the babys heartrate was 86bpm anyone else have a early ultrasound scan and the babys heart rate was low and everything ended up being fine I go in for another ultrasound on the 12th

    It's possible you ovulated and that's why your dates and the measurements don't match up.  At 5 weeks 6 days the heart would have just started beating and would be "slower".  I don't know that either of those two things would be terribly worrisome, but they will definitely know more at your ultrasound on the 12th.

    Yeah I just worry because with my first pregnancy I went in at 6weeks 3 days its heart rate was 115bpm and then its heart stoped 3days later

    Lurking here, but wanted to pass along some encouragement.  My first pregnancy also ended in miscarriage.  My second preg, I had an ultrasound at 6w and measured 5w6d with a heartbeat of 91.  The doc said that was low, but everything I read indicated that it had just started beating and was fairly normal.  Everything turned out fine...next ultrasound at 10w showed a heart rate in the 180s.  My daughter will be 1 next month.

    Try not to worry, although I know how hard it is not to.  Good luck to you!

    Thanks this is my 3rd pregnancy I have a 10 almost 11 month old daughter her heartrate was 166bpm but I was 8weeks then and I hate worrying myself and having to wait so long for another ultrasound but my doctor was nice and said i could have one which she usually dosnt do  so that is a plus

    It sounds like the heart just started beating. As long as the heart rate is higher at your next appointment, things should be okay.

    FWIW, my babies tend to have high heart rates, and my youngest son's was 120 at 6 weeks. I'm sure it was considerable slower at 5.5 weeks.

    When I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks the heartrate was 85-86bpm the doctor said to not worry, etc. I went in last week at 8 weeks and it was 145 bpm.

    First u/s at 6w4d, hb was 120 bpm; second u/s at 8w4d, hb was 183.  Doc says I'm doing fine; so a low hb early on shouldn't be too much to worry about.
