I am a ball of nerves. Last month I had a chemical pregnancy with a beta that never rose above 21 (even though I got very + FRER and Digital test)
This month I got a BFP at what I think was 12dpo. Had my first beta hcg drawn at what I think was 14dpo and it came back at 32. Scheduled for a second beta tomorrow. I am so nervous that the results are not going to double! Having a previous chemcial pregnancy makes me very nervous.
I know that it doesn't really matter what your beta level is just that it doubles but I am so nervous. Anyone else have successful pregnancy stories that started out with a low beta?
Re: Nervous first beta was low
I actually have two stories of low betas, one good and one bad:
In April 2010, I had a beta of 14 (no idea what DPO, since I caught the first ovulation after DS was born); a week later it was over 100, and then one week after that, I started bleeding. At that point, my beta was down to 20, and it was a natural miscarriage.
A few months later, I got pregnant again and had a beta of 16 at 12 DPO; that baby turned 1 last month.
I hope it works out for you this time!
Worrying about Betas totally sucks. I've been there. I hope this makes you feel better: My first Beta at 13DPO was a 23. Two days later it was a 58, and five days after that it was 1,010 and I am almost 16 weeks pregnant
I hope everything works out for you! I'm still terrified something will happen...I don't think it ever really goes away. Best of luck to you
