Diarrhea in pregnancy

I recently craved mexican food and got this stuff called chorizo with my food. As soon as I was done eating it was like the worst bowel movement ive had in a while. I was reading some things online and one said that it could irritate the uterus. This is my 2nd pregnancy and im about 7 weeks along.

    just drink lots of water so you stay hydrated, you'll be fine

    I go from being constipated to diarrhea and back again. It's all normal.

    I would only be concerned if you are at risk for preterm labor way later in your pregnancy.  There is some speculation that bowel irritation can trigger uterine contractions (hence the castor oil home induction method).  I've had major issues for the past week.  No worries.

    This entire pregnancy I've had the runs.  I just make sure I'm staying hydrated and I know I'll be fine.  You will too.

    No worries.  It happens.  Bet you won't want to eat chorizo for a while, though!

    Chorizo is probably the greasiest thing you can order at a Mexican restaurant lol...it's the equivalent of a spicy sausage. Now, I want some chorizo, but without Montezuma's revenge ;)
