A Serious Question About Nipples.

Okay me and my fiance are trying to conceive and I think I may be pregnant but its to early to tell with a hpt. But I was wondering if when anyone when they first where pregnant if their nipples where very erect, and sore, and if the white spots in them got very defined? Is that normal? Could that mean I am pregnant? I have three more days till I find out.

If you're pregnant enough for symptoms, you're pregnant enough for a positive test. What tells you that you have 3 days to wait?

I just didn't want to test to early. Three more days till my period is supposed to start. And for the nipples thing they have never acted as they have been lately. I have read online on multiple thing that sore nipples is a very early sign in pregnancy as in the first week or could sometimes be later.

You know what else is an early sign of pregnancy? A positive pregnancy test. Take one.

It can be a sign... But most likely you have PMS... Take a test! Get an early detection test.. Pink dye one...

You are rude. One woman suggested I ask there and I took her advice. I did want your opinions. But so far most the people on this whole website have been rude and making me feel like my questions are dumb. But they are honest questions. And no ones questions should be treated as such. I went on this board first considering that some of you are trying for your second. I wanted to know if it happened to someone else not for someone to say I was pregnant. If I wanted that I would have went to a Dr. I just wanted to know if it was an early sign that I COULD be pregnant. I liked that woman's post because she was one of the first to not make me feel like I was asking a dumb question. I have never been pregnant and don't know what to expect. As for taking a test I will after my missed period or the day of when my period should be. I don't feel like I should be over eager and take a test now. Just excited and want to know if it happened to others and if I COULD be pregnant. But as my mother use to say if you have nothing nice to say you shouldn't say it at all maybe you should follow that advice.

1) Every time my BFF has been KU, she has had sore nipples about a week before a + HPT or even blood test. So, yes, you certainly could be KU. I didn't have any symptoms at all before my HPT, and I didn't find out until I was 2 weeks late. Everyone is different.

2) It helps to lurk around this site. People can seem snarky sometimes, but it isn't personal, and it doesn't mean that they'll snark at you on every post. This board gets lots of "am I PG" posts, and for some of these ladies who have been year for many months, these get old. And a lot of us are very rarely snarky. Personally, my mother was an advocate of "kill them kindness." GL. You can learn a lot from the people on this site.

Thank you so much. It just really upset me that she was the one to give me the advice to try the first trimester board and then said I didn't want advice from this board. I really would take anyone's opinion or advice if it is done in a nice way. But I appreciate you being nice.

My fiance hasn't really played with my nipples. They have been too sore for a week straight. He defiantly hasn't touched them since they have become sore.

You would go to the doctor to see if you are pregnant before taking an HPT?

Sure, it could be a symptom. Or it's not. Fwiw, my nips didn't change until a few months into pregnancy and when they did, they just got darker. No one was really that rude to you. I gave you good advice. I even tried to see what you really new about TTC by asking how you knew when your period was due. Many people think they know, but don't track enough fertility signs to know for sure.

I am glad you went over and asked bc those would be the ladies to ask... You know the ones who are actually pregnant. But no one here gave you bad advice. They said to take a test, it could be PMS, yes it is a sign but to test, could be reaction to something (soaps ect), and asked you why you have to wait 3 days. Even said if its early enough for symptoms its early enough to test. None of that is rude it just wasn't "Oh yes that is for sure!" Ladies post here all the time and when we tell them the same things we told you they think the ladies on this board are rude and some get really nasty.

I don't mind some saying it is an allergic reaction or it could be pms or take a test. I don't like when I follow YOUR advice and ask the first trimester board and you bad mouth me for it. I was like oh, maybe I should try there they might have a better idea if it is a possibility. I plan on testing but why should I test now when I haven't even missed a period? Its still is early. As for if you have early symptoms its early enough to test is false. Everybody's body is different.

I wasn't talking about you and I think you did give me good advice. I have a very regular period.. I have had it that way for years. As for how I know I mark it on the calender every month since the time I started it was my mothers advice. Most people gave me good or decent advice. I just mentioned I don't want to test before my missed period.

She went to first tri to ask and seemed to be happy after one lady said oh yeah for sure you could be pregnant that happened to me... So she didn't want to really know what we thought she just wanted us to say yes she is pregnant.

Since She gave me the advice to check there and when I did she got mad or something and posted that rude comment.

Just because it's something that hasn't happened before doesn't mean that since it is you're pregnant. Your body changes so this could be part of those changes.

FWIW, my period is nothing like it was when I was 12. Or 16. Or even 20 for that matter. It's normal for your body and cycle to change over time.

Seriously I have done nothing wrong to any of you ladies. I asked a question I was honestly wondering about. Some of the post where good advice I didn't even think of it maybe being an allergic reaction. I did have an issue with the one lady saying I didn't want your advice because I honestly did want your advice. But I had no problems with anyone else until the rude post such as the nipguards. I am trying to conceive just like everyone else on this board. And if you had the same questions and I had some advice I would give you the advice I could offer, without the snarky-ness.

Yes, your question was about your nipples, but as for the bold from your OP you were asking in relation to you being pregnant..so that's why you're getting all kind of respones. As for the nip guards, it was just a joke.

MMhhhmmm. Did you skip the day in sex ed class where they covered the part about unprotected sex resulting in pregnancy? It doesn't matter what symptoms you do or don't have...if you had unprotected sex you could be pregnant. It is a basic simple concept.

If you were simply asking if tomorrow was too early to take a test, it would have at least been an average question.

Yes, your question was about your nipples, but as for the bold from your OP you were asking in relation to you being pregnant..so that's why you're getting all kind of respones. As for the nip guards, it was just a joke.

I went to a private catholic school, they didn't have a sex ed class. But I do know that unprotected sex leads to pregnancy. And again question was more about my nipples
