Induction date snuck up on me...

I am being induced Wednesday at 41 weeks. And I have KNOWN this fact for a few weeks now (doctor schedules it just to have it on the books ahead of time). However, it is just now really hitting me. I've been cleaning and getting things done here and there, but now suddenly I look around and I see all this little stuff I want to do that is going to all add up to one big pain in the butt. And I have TWO days! OMG!

Okay. Freakout over. 

On a happier note, I can't wait to meet my little one Wednesday :)

Does anyone else have an induction set, but realized they still have things that need to get done? What are you doing to manage it all this late in the game?

    I'm getting induced on Wednesday too. I wasn't really afraid of labor and delivery until now. I'm a FTM and I'm all of a sudden so scared. I feel like such a baby. I have to keep reminding myself that women have done this forever, do it literally everyday and that we are made to do this. 

    Luckily I finished getting things done and ready for the baby's arrival although I did go crazy cleaning today. Try not to worry too much about getting things done. Remember nothing has to be perfect.

    W/ DD I ran around like crazy the days leading up to the induction and I was even crazier the day of the induction (I went in at 8pm).  It was horrible.  This time around, I was induced again, I decided I wasn't going to make myself crazy.  I am a world class procrastinator so I knew there would be things left to the last minute.  I decided that I would do what I could when I felt like it and I wasn't going to stress bc in the end, it really doesn't matter.  Trust me.  Have a couple priority things that must get done - For me that was making sure the pets had what the needed, having clean bed sheets to come home to and clean clothes for everyone.  Beyond that, trust me, it doesn't matter.  Things were so much more relaxed for me and my family this time around that is so worth not having 'everything done or taken care of.'
