I guess I'm overly sensitive today, but people at Walmart (I hate Walmart) pissed me off! 1) I was looking at crockpots to replace mine that broke, and N was fussing because he wanted my drink. I had gotten a banana smoothie from the McDonalds (just ice and bananas/strawberries) because I knew we could share it. I handed it to him and some lady that worked there said to him, "Well, aren't you just the most spoiled child? You just get whatever you want" in this sarcastic tone. Argh.
2) At the check-out after an hour of shopping, he was in suprisingly good spirits still and was doing that happy shrieking thing that babies do and was yanking on my shirt so I'd give him a kiss on the forehead - a game we play in the checkout to keep busy. The lady in front of us came and got right by him and asked him what his problem was and started pretending to shriek like him and told him he needed to be quiet! For the record, it was her turn to pay for her stuff, so she could have just left if she had an issue. I HATE Walmart.
If I wasn't with my kid and wasn't pregnant, I might have gotten into my first (two) fist fights today!
Re: People at Walmart Suck
My sister had a walmart "run-in" with douchetastic people.
Sucks that happened. People are just dumb
I always try SO hard to get past all of the Walmart stereotypes before heading into the store, like I have to mentally prepare myself NOT to be judgmental. But, it never fails. Someone is always screaming at their child across the store, saying inappropriate things to other shoppers, screaming into a cell phone at their boyfriend who they happen to be very unhappy with, or dressed ridiculously. Sigh. I always walk out vowing I'll never go back.
People at Walmart really do suck.
Sorry you had a rough day there!
