possible pregnancy symptoms?

Geez you would think after having three kids I would know this...but I can't tell if I am having pregnancy symptoms or if it is all coincidence.

First off, we aren't trying to get pregnant...however if I were pregnant I would be happy. I had a moment of baby fever (well still do) and started having unprotected sex with my husband CD 14 and CD 15. He put a condom on to "finish" so the chances of me being pregnant are very unlikely I know, but here are my symptoms anyway. Let me know what you think.

CD: 14 and 15 sex

CD: 18 - constipation (had with my last pregnancy as a first sign)

CD 19- acid reflux almost daily/nightly since this day (not normal for me)

CD: 21 - periods of dizziness (first sign of my first pregnancy)

CD 23- layed on my stomach, felt weird sensation in lower abdomen

CD: 24 (today) woke up with period like cramping and swore it was going to show only to subside. Very dizzy off/on. Continuing with acid reflux.

I am not due until Thursday and my cycles still have not regulated since giving birth last July. Sometimes I have my normal 28 day cycles but the last two were 6 days late and 6 days early so who knows. Anyway thoughts?

this. also, this sounds like it could just be signs of you starting your period. you should either take a HPT or go see your doctor.

My boobs hurt really bad, that's all and often that's a problem for me anyway. I just decided to take a test for the heck of it. Sevens tests later....here I am.

Those are pretty early to be pregnancy symptoms. If you were to conceive on one of those days, it would take 6-10 days for an embryo to implant in your uterus and another few days for your body to start recognizing it enough to start giving you symptoms.

I agree, it is probably all a coincidence. However I experienced symptoms a week before my period was due with all three pregnancies (1st was dizziness, 2nd child was crying over everything, and 3rd was constipation/fatigue) so not uncommon in my body I guess. The first two pregnancies I wasn't even looking at cycles or thinking about pregnancy either so it is not like I thought those early symptoms in my head.

My only symptoms were boob soreness and cramping. My boobs aren't typically sore during AF so I knew. But we'd been trying so I'd also been testing. The morning of my BFP I got a negative using morning urine. That afternoon my boobs started hurting and I took a test a few hours later for a bfp but very faint.

Typically if you are showing symptoms then you should be able to get a BFP. Its the hormones that cause the symptoms so it'll register. Take a test! GL!

i had the sore breasts, leg cramps which i had back in april when i miscarried, swelling hands feet and legs, my nipples were changing color and size and the acid reflux just like u have said. and i was late on my period as it arrives on time to the day so a week later i tested and guess what POSITIVE HOME TEST AND BLOOD WORK, now i am taking injections cause my hormone level is low.

If you've had 3 children you would know what early pregnancy symptoms are and should know that if you're pregnant enough to have symptoms you're pregnant enough to get a positive hpt. My symptoms were very similar to my period so I had no idea until I actually missed my period. The ladies aren't trying to be rude it's just that none of us can tell you if you're pregnant or not; only a doctor or test can.

I'm not saying anyone is being rude...

As for me having three children, every pregnancy is different....all three of mine have had different early symptoms.

All I was looking for was people to tell me their first symptoms...that's it. I know I can take an HPT, I know that's the only way to find out, I know no one can tell me if I am pregnant.

And as far as if I am having symptoms then I should be able to get a positive test not true, All three didn't show positives until after three days late, and I had symptoms more than 5 day before I even missed my period.

That's not always true I was having symptoms, sore boobs, dizziness, nausea, and the first HPT I took said negative then I waited 5 days took another and that one came out positive. So sometimes you'll get symptoms before a test will say yes, But the rest I agree you just need to pee on a stick or get your blood drawn. GL

Yes, it is true. It's pretty simple. Hormones cause pregnancy symptoms, and HPTs look for pregnancy hormones. Any other symptoms are just in your head because you're overthinking it, or simply a coincidence.

Unless of course HPTs work on magic, instead of by detecting pregnancy hormones. Who knows, maybe.

OP, why haven't you just taken a test? You readily admit that the only way to know is to POAS. So do it already.

well that was quite rude...geez

I had already mentioned I never get positive HPTs until at least 3 days past my being late for my period...and that my period isn't even due until this Thursday so why POAS and waste my money right now?

I won't be coming back here anymore...people just are not understanding that all I wanted was their first symptoms..I am not asking you to predict if I am pregnant or not (well a couple of you did, thank you for your answers).
