I am sure our percentage will be higher but here are some USA stats from 2006.

73.9% were ever breastfed 43.4% were still breastfeeding at 6 months of age 22.7% were breastfeeding at 1 year of age 33.1% were exclusively breastfed through 3 months of age 13.6% were exclusively breastfed through 6 months of age

I am still pumping 4 times a day and have not had to supplement. I plan to pump less when he starts eating better.

Still BFing on demand (but only offering when she asks for it). Goal for this summer is to wean her down to BFing only before/after naps/bed. She's getting there herself so far.

Still breastfeeding twice a day, first thing and last thing. And it's a good thing too since I think she's drinking like 3oz of cow's milk per day. But she still jumps at the boob like it's her favorite thing on the planet!

I said no because I am no longer pumping or nursing. However, we are still using up my freezer stash. I've got about a weeks worth left (+/-). So maybe I should have said yes? I'm pretty proud to say that we have never supplemented. I was also very blessed supply wise as I never had to take boosters.

Proud to still be going strong with BFing! Interesting results, though - given the statistics.

I am not terribly surprised that the numbers are so much higher then average. I think this board has been super supportive and helpful to BFing and BFing issues. If I would have had to rely on just the BFing board or myself I would have been up the creek a few times and possibly quit.
