It's gonna be hot - 101 degrees today in Texas, so they say

I guess we will all be running around this apt in our undies today 
We live in an upstairs apt and there is no shade from trees on the roof like my last apt...so it gets pretty damned hot. Even with the blinds closed and the curtains shut AC on 65, fans running hepa filters running .. it will still be at least 80 degrees in here all day. the humidifier seems to help drop the temps in the bedroom at night so that is a bonus .. but damned it's gonna be another long hot summer prolly.
Last year was almost a record breaker for the number of days over 100 degrees... I sure hope we dont come close to that agan now we have this little man. At least with cold you can put clothes on.. when its this hot and you already in your diaper.. not much else to take off.
At least this little man won't be shy about the human body when he gets older haha

We hit 103 at 3:30 here on Thursday....in Maine. I don't think I've ever seen that happen. Our window units couldn't keep up with the heat either.
Poor DD hates being naked but she has been on only a diaper since Wednesday.
Hope you can beat the heat today.

Baths cool him off too if he gets too warm..and he loves baths... so far it's not a problem ..but he doesnt get outside as much as I would like and it's dark in the apt more than I would like for him,.. he may turn into a vampire lol

Our weather was CRAP today - windy, rainy, and freezing. We're cuddling up on the couch with hot tea and a movie tonight! This has been the strangest spring that I can remember....we always have pretty nice weather this time of year.....
I'm in NY right now and coming from Houston, everyone was saying the weather here was hot. Yeah it is, but at least when it rained Friday it cooled down a bit. When it rained in Houston on Tuesday and Wednesday, all it did was get hotter and harder to breath!
your post is making me second guess our summer vacation. We were leaning towards San Antonio instead of the normal Florida beach trip this summer but now I'm thinking maybe not such a good idea.
It is 10 PM and we just got the apt to drop from 88 degrees to 84 in the bedroom and 84 down to 80 in the front room .. not too sure I trust the thermostat readings, it actually feels ok in here, but my body thermostat has been screwy since I had the munchkin, so I dont trust that either .. and he is teething so he gets hot at times anyway
Our apts are old and I don't think insulation in the roof was a high priority, add in big windows, vaulted ceilings and probably not a powerful enough AC unit .. and you have your own personal sweat box .. YAY
I'm not that close to San Antonio so there weather might be different ...
