Since this board is so quiet I would like to tell you about Space Coast Birth Network. SCBN meets on the 3rd Friday of the month. The people who attend the meeting are expectant parents, new parents, doulas, childbirth educations, other birth professionals, and birthjunkies. The meetings' topics are about pregnancy, birth, and early childhood. Sometimes we just share birth stories. Sometimes we have a showing of a birth relate movie (e.g. Orgasmic Birth, Business of Being Born, Laboring Under an Illusion).
Anyways. The next meeting is:
June 15th 6:30-8:30 pm
at Unity Church of Melbourne ( Space Coast Birth Network is not affiliated with any congregation or faith, we just use their building)

The meeting was a little over a week ago but I decided to post about June's meeting. We exchanged birth stories then we watched More of The Business of Being Born: Choices: Doulas, Birth Centers and C-sections.
I expect we will watch another episode of More of The Business of Being Born at July's meeting.
