Yeah and he's NOT sleep deprived at all... he doesn't get up for baby's feed and sleeps like a log so he doesn't even hear me get up.  He also doesn't hear the toddler in the morning over the monitor (on HIS side of the bed) so I usually have to shove him awake. !!!  I'm such a light sleeper, and majorly resentful.  In case you can't tell.

I would be too!! Seriously, hearing it, it's hilarious. But if DH was sleeping all night and telling me he fell asleep on the toilet, id be tempted to throat punch him.

Sebd your toddler in with him every time... Bet that'll keep him awake ;-)

  • So... I've totally fallen asleep on the toilet but it was in boot camp. I hadn't slept in like 48 hours or so and it was maybe for a minute because it's not like I had the spare time to be sleeping anywhere and lord knows I didnt need to be caught with my pants around my ankles sleeping on the toilet... Haha

  • omg don't make me laugh! I'm holding a (finally) sleeping baby.
  • I only fell asleep once years ago out at a restaurant when I was plastered. I can't understand doing that on a normal day.

ETA: I fell asleep sitting peeing. Not puking. My friend started knocking on the stall loudly saying my name and I woke up.

  • I'm talking to DH and asked him if he has ever fell asleep on the toilet. He said that he has multiple times due to lack of sleep. Once was in basic training and then when he was overseas. I've never fell asleep on the toilet and hope it never happens.

I could have written this!! When he falls asleep while talking to me I want to kick him!! There's no way he's more sleep deprived then me but he acts like it!

  • Our bathroom is across the hall from DH's office. I got home from the grocery store yesterday to find the remote to his TV on the back of the toilet seat and his TV moved to face the doorway. Seriously?!?
