Have to brag...

I'm just so excited!

For months I've been asking you ladies if you had gotten your hospital bills. I've been walking on egg shells to my mail box daily HOPING it wasn't there and scared of what it might break down to costing (our insurance plan is like talking to a brick wall...).

Well--it came today! ....along with a $20.00 check! Apparently there was an overpay somewhere. They are PAYING me to have a baby!

  • Wow I am jealous! We had to pay so much. I still get nervous every time I check the mail box just in case we forgot about something or they did.

I know...I think I'll be in disbelief  for awhile. My luck there will be a $5,000 bill in there Monday and I owe $4,980...

  • I'm still waiting for some crazy bill to come in the mail. We received our copayments back for myself and LO ($250 X 2). I am thankful I had my husbands secondary insurance!

  • So jealous!  I feel like we get a bill every week now!  They're always for $250 but with LOs NICU stay, my hospital bill, and continuing medical treatment for LO, they're adding up!  Thankfully the hospital has a payment plan without interest!

We owed about a thousand for me and a thousand for LO.  They let us "pay off" LO over 6 months interest free and since we paid my bill in full in cash they gave us a 10% discount.  My husband called the hospital billing department and asked.
