Diagnose my LO

So DH noticed (and is freaking out) at the fact that LO's eyes roll back into his head sometimes when he is being fed solids.  I have never noticed it before.  Have you ladies noticed your LO doing that.  I just think my son likes his food LOL

DH is ready to take him to some sort of pedi eye specialist.

 Advice ladies?

ETA:  DH just said LO did it again in the bath tub so its 2x in less than 15 mins.  DH said he is acting like there is something in his eye and he cant get it out.  He isn't rubbing it though.

Re: Diagnose my LO

  • I have no idea but if it makes you feel any better, LO now starts to cross hs eyes everytime he drinks from his sippy.  Apparently he likes to watch the cup very closely as he drinks.  It totally freaks out DH. Lol

  • I've never heard of that before. It's just when he's eating solids? Like adult food solids or purees also? I'd keep a close on it for a couple days and give the pedi a call to ask about it, taking some sort of middle ground between YH's concern and your own. I like to be slow to freak out but also cautious.

  • Does he really like food?  (Serious ? :) ) My coworker still BFs her 18month old and he has rolled his eyes back in his head since day 1 when he first latches on she says.  I wouldn't be terribly concerned but may mention at his next appt.

  • It's probably nothing but maybe you should put in a call to the pedi on Monday and see what they say. This might be something that they've heard of a lot and can reassure you. Is he acting normally right before and after? If so I'd guess it's just something he does.
