Lost & scared

Ok so I found out i was pregnant this past memorial day and my LMP was 4/22 so i calcuated that I was about 7 weeks pregnant by the time I had my first ultrasound. They said the baby was measuring at 5 weeks which seems normal and that she seen a light flickering and saw the yolk sac. Everything was fine my hcg levels were perfect  so I thought I was in the clear. June 22 I had my next ultrasound and it wasn't so good. She said there was no heartbeat or growth and then I was scheduled for a d&c and I was told this happened two weeks ago. However I jus seen them 11days prior and everything was great as I was told . So now Monday Im scheduled for that D&c and im nervous and thinking about reconsidering. Was it too early for them to confirm this before the baby was 7weeks? This monday i should have begun my 7th week

    You are a day off on my LMP, so unless you know when you ovulated you should be nine weeks tomorrow.

    They should be able to do an ultrasound prior to the D&C to confirm for you, but it sounds like you lost the baby.  I'm very sorry.

    OK if your last period was 4/22 and you ovulated and had a perfect 28 day cycle you would be 8 weeks, 5 days pregnant right now.

    You Had your first u/s on 6/12 ( 11 days -June 23rd) you would have been 7 weeks 2 days pregnant. But they said you were measuring 5 weeks. Which they claim they saw the heartbeat? My knowledge and I could be wrong with this being my 3rd pregnancy the heart beat usually doesn't start until about 6 weeks.

     If by 6/22 they said you had not had any growth or heart beat I would say unfortunately you lost the baby.

    Normally at 5 weeks you will see a sac and fetal pole, most doctors will not do a u/s before 5 weeks cause there is not much to see. But seeing it's been 2 weeks since your last visit and no change, I'm really really sorry.

    Exactly . Makes sense. At 5 weeks they saw the sac and a light flickering i wasnt able to see though. I will just get the u/s before the d&c just to verify
