I need one. I am the WORST cleaner ever and traditional mops scare me. I think I could manage a stem mop but heard some are worthless. Anyone use one they love? Our entire house has wood floors.
I like it and don't have any big complaints. I've seen other (more expensive) models get higher reviews though...
We also have all wood floors. I mixed up some vinegar and water and it got all scuffs, and stuck on stuff, etc with no problems. And the floors SHINED.

we have a shark and it's pretty decent. it gets the job done, but we have to be careful to not have streaks. we've done vinegar and water before too, but we have pergo.

You put that mixture in the mop?
No. I bought a spray bottle and put it in there. I mist the floor and then go over it with the Shark. ...I've never thought of putting it IN the mop. Mmmm... It's probably the same though. Oh, if you go out and buy a Shark pick up some distilled water...our manual said to only use distilled---which meant another trip to the store.

I also have a shark and love it. You can't put the vinegar in the mop. Just spray on the floor and then go over it. Also someone mentioned using distilled water. Definitely do that because i ruined one of my sharks from using regular water.
Re: NBR. Steam Mop
We have the plain jane Shark steam mop.

I cannot say enough good things about my Eureka Enviro steamer: https://www.amazon.com/Eureka-Enviro-Hard-Surface-Steamer-313A/dp/B001LYFBHG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340481818&sr=8-1&keywords=eureka+enviro+steamer
I love that thing as much as you can love a steam mop ;-)

We have a regular Shark and love it. We only have wood and tile.
ETA: I have only used regular water in mine.
