peeing in the tub

Why is it that it never fails, every single time we do a bath, she pees the second she gets in. Confession.....I just continue to bath her, but makes sure I don't wash her face with the "pee" water. It's just a PITA to change the water once I get her in.

Sam does it on the regular. I bathe them together and Riley always kicks him out for it, she does not approve.

I'm sure DS pees in the tub all the time and I don't even know. I use the sling in Lyla's bathtub so if she pees, it just drains through the sling.

It's like the ol' college trick of putting a passed out friend's hand in warm water so they wet themselves...LO pees in the tub each time- I always put a washcloth over him immediately..but I don't change the water- it's a drop in the bucket. He also peed in the pool the time I put him in for just a sec w/o a diaper lol I was just glad it wasn't poo since I BF and BF poo would not be cool in the pool! lmao

Right after filling up the tub we undress LO down to his diaper and put just his feet in for a few seconds and wait about a minute before we start bathing him. He almost always pees his diaper.

DD does this almost every time we put her in the bath. My hubby started trying to dip her feet in before we take the diaper off. He says it is the pee test and if we dip her feet in she will go before she gets in the tub. Most of the time I actually think it works even though I won't admit it to him.

Eh, pee is sterile-I wouldn't be too worried about it! DS1 used to do this ALL the time and we wasted so much water! I just rinse him again with fresh water before he gets out!

Urine is generally sterile in the bladder until it reaches the urethra ( where it is usually exposed to bacteria) ...not once it leaves the body.

My son pees in the tub too....but we have the Puj tub and I just freshen the water by draining the old water out of the holes in the tub. I rinse him with the faucet.

C does this every time he hits the water! Not just once either...he will pee at least 2-3 times before the bath is over! haha

I do pretty much the same thing but as the tub is filling up a trickle some of the water on his chest and just wait a min before I take his diaper off. I haven't had him pee in the tub since I started doing that a month and a half ago. I'm sure it will happen again, but before he would pee every bath.

LOL! That is impossible to take out of water! We've had poo in the tub as well, that's when bathtime is over!
