    Yes, sort of.

    I say "high five!" and she holds her hand up in the air over her head and waits for me to bring the five to her.

    Yeah. My mom taught him how last week. He has to be shown how to do it every once in a while, though.

    You say High five and he holds his hand up and kinda wiggles his fingers.

    But you have to do all the work.

    Yes. She learned from a library book that had a little hand attached to it. Her favorite page was the high 5 page. :)

    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

    Nope, we're not a big high fiving family.  DH doesn't really do it and neither do I so she doesn't really have anybody actively trying to teach her.  We are still working on waving hi/bye-bye TBH.

    Yes, I think daycare taught her?  I like her knowing it b/c strangers tend to ask for high 5s.  I'd rather she do it and we can move on....vs. the stranger trying to tickle her belly (has happened).

    No he has just started to kinda wave. I hadn't been working on high 5's. Not a big high 5 family either. Good thought about using it with strangers. I was hoping the wave would work for that.

    Yes.  But we are also working on the waving bye-bye or hi.  He can say bye bye, but waving is a hit or miss.
