question from a non-pregnant gal! (a little TMI...)

Hi Ladies - first off - CONGRATS on your pregnancy's! I hopefully will be joining you soon. I was wondering if any of you had a lot more creamy CM (sorry if TMI!). I'm 7DPO and having the most CM I can ever remember having. I wasn't sure if maybe this happened to anyone else the month they got their BFP? Thanks for any help - I appreciate it!

Yes, and unfortunately, it doesnt go away...

Your temps DO look promising. You might be able to test soon; I got my BFP at about 9 DPO (I think).

  • YES! When I was looking up symptoms of pregnancy after I was late, this was the only one that stood out to me that I had that wasn't also a PMS symptom for me. I showed the website to my boyfriend and he looked at me with the funniest face because he noticed it too and we had no idea it was a symptom. That was pretty much when I knew the test was going to be positive. It was kind of like the discharge I had when I had BV but it had no smell at all.

ETA Good luck and hopefully we see you soon!

  • I had that for sure. I saw it listed as a possible sign of pregnancy but it was the only 'symptom' I had...well until the missed period that is.

  • Yes!  It was quite a bit more than normal...

p.s. If you are pregnant, I recommend pantyliners for the duration of your pregnancy...lol, you'll need them!

Excellent advice. I wore panty liners every day starting in the 2nd tri and up until the day I delivered. Stock up!

Just make sure they are unscented!  (UTIs are not pleasant.)  As for your original question, I actually don't have creamy CM, but I did have pink & brown-tinged EWCM.  I thought my period was coming, but was happily surprised.  Also, I didn't get a positive HPT until 13DPO.

  • I actually didn't have much CM at all during my BFP cycle. It's not considered to be an early sign of pregnancy, but many women experience a "snail trail" throughout their pregnancy and need pantiliners. I tested at 11DPO because I noticed my boobs hurt and they never hurt during PMS. Your temps look good though, so GL to you!
