We use a very thin, light aiden and anais blanket at night. I started letting her use it about month ago. She loves it. DH keeps insisting that he thinks she would now love a little pillow. She moves from one end of the crib to the other all night. I have no idea how she keeps the blanket on but she does. Would she even stay on a pillow? I'm on the fence... anyone use one yet? What kind? I'm guessing she would just cuddle with it... is this just a bad idea?

Re: Anyone use a pillow yet?
I think officially, pillows are not recommended for children under the age of 2 years. I am not sure when we'll introduce a pillow. I'll probably wait until she physically asks for one so who knows how long, or maybe when we move her into a toddler bed. I am not sure when that'll be either.
My DD loves pillows though. The few times we have co-slept since she started sleeping exclusively in her crib (on vacation and etc) she loves scooting up and putting her head on my pillows and nuzzling it. It's very cute TBH.
No pillow here. I don't really have an opinion either way, but she sleeps on her stomach and I don't think a pillow would go over very well.
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

H used a pillow for about two weeks... At first I was hesitant and only did naps. I noticed she likes being at an incline and is much more comfortable because she doesn't move.. At all.
I took it out when my mom put her to be one evening and I noticed she was no longer on it. So we don't use one anymore.
Next time will probably be when she asks for it. Oh and she's always used a blanket.
We bed share, and DD sleeps the best (actually sge'll only sleep) when she is surrounded by pillows. I try to keep them away from her face, but she'll move at night to where she's snuggled up against a pillow (or my armpit).
Im trying to move her to a crib (failing epically, btw), but I did put the bumper up thinking she could snuggle against that. The crib set did come with a cylander-shaped pillow that I wouldn't mind putting in (it's pretty firm, and the shape alone would make it hard to smoosh a face into). But I don't know if I could give her a traditional pillow at this age.
