What does LO's diet consist of? DS has a milk allergy, and will only eat fruit and veggies, and oatmeal if we mix it with fruit. He's still on formula because I'm worried about him getting enough protein in his diet on just almond milk. Any suggestions?
Re: If you use almond milk instead
The kid loves hard boiled eggs, beans of any kind and hummus... I'm pretty sure that I've seen recipes for almond milk yogurt online too
So Delicious makes a coconut milk yogurt that is pretty readily available.
Hmm. I haven't tried hard boiled eggs. He totally hates beans though. He did have yogurt yesterday, so well see how that goes. Ill look for the coconut milk yogurt too, thanks!!
He hates beans?!?! Jameson would die without them
He's a good little Mexican boy!
He hates everything lol. I gave him the potato out of my pierogie the other night, and he reached into his mouth with two fingers and pulled it out!! He spits beans out. Black beans, kidney beans, refried beans, great northern beans.... He hates them all! Lol
We're stuggling with the same issue... she has a suspected milk allergy... so we're still on nutramigen, and we're most likely going to try transitioning to almond milk. She hates beans, spits eggs out, etc. I'm at a total loss. ;(
He eats everything we eat, here are some examples:
Breakfast- french toast, eggs, cereal, bagels etc
Lunches- cold cuts, hot dogs, hamburgers, tuna, egg salad
Dinners- chicken, fish, potato, tacos
He eats fruits, veggies and yogurt too
Almond milk is more of a "drink" than anything else for us. He also takes poly vi sol vitamins.
