Everybody calm the heck down!

Deep breaths...it seems like there are a lot of women stressing about all of the things you did 'wrong.' A mistake here and there isn't likely to cause any permanent damage...you'll be fine! And if, heaven forbid, something did go wrong, during the first trimester it's usually due to chromosomal abnormalities, not something the mother did. Relax and enjoy your pregnancies.

    Freaking out doesn't change what you did anyway so why bother?

    I painted and did a few other probable no-no's before I knew I was pregnant with DS. My doctor pretty much said at that point that if the baby made it through, they'd be fine.

    I had to walk away from TB as soon as I was PG with #1 because the posts were too stressful to read. I'm much less susceptible now. :)

    Couldn't agree more... 30 years ago when our parents were having babies, they didnt know at 4 weeks they were pregnant. The tests were not that sensitive. Our moms with us probably made more unknowing mistakes (by today's standards) and we are fine!

    It's easy to freak out when it's your first.  But yes, I agree.  Stay calm, people.  Stress = higher blood pressure = no bueno for developing placentas and babies!

    I'm calm. I'm nervous but I'm calm at the same time. I was using medicinal marijuana (for fibromyalgia and sleep issues) every night before I figured out I was pregnant but I'm not worried about it. If I miscarry again I don't think that will be the cause. I don't like those nasty paints but the reality is there are toxins in the air all the time. We can never get away from them. Plenty of women still have healthy babies.

    I did pretty much the same thing.  Never even bothered to make an account because I didn't want to be worrying about things I was or was not feeling and all the other worries that get mentioned.  Feel much calmer and more in control this time!

    Painting while pregnant is a no-no?? I painted a couple rooms when pregnant the last time
