City Mini GT

We live right in Boston and I actually saw a mom with the City Mini stroller getting on a bus and I was AMAZED at how easy she made it look to hold her toddler with one arm and fold the stroller with her free hand. DH and I "test drove" the City Mini and the GT and really liked the GT for the few upgrades it seems to have.

Anyone have one? Recommend it?

This is the stroller we bought- haven't used it yet other than to show off in front of our friends.  It really does seem user friendly :) Which is something I need.

Friends with a 1 year old LOVE theirs. They demoed how easy it was to fold with a baby in one hand and made me try it myself. It was a piece of cake to fold and super light.  No comparison to my other friend's Bumbleride, which she must also remove the front wheel from to fit in her Civic trunk.  The City Mini is on my short list to try out once I start baby shopping.

  • We live in Manhattan and are seriously considering getting it as well. As much as I love the idea of something with a bassinet, I can't imagine pushing an Uppa or Chameleon on the subway or city sidewalk or getting it on the bus.

Same here! The conveniences of the City Mini trump the bassinet option in my mind.

  • This is the stroller we picked out.  I don't live in the city but I loved how easy it is to fold.
