If you're on your 3+ pregnancy (so that you could have had experience with this) AND you were bfing at the time of pregnancy, did your boobs grow anyway during the pregnancy? I figure they can't get much bigger! I'm already nursing and they are at their "full of milk" size, so they shouldn't grow anymore right? I need a new bra, but I don't want to get one that fits now, only to outgrow it in a few weeks. I'm already a 42G!! If anything, I'm hoping they actually get smaller as LO weans (which he seems to be doing.)
Re: s/o bras (people 2+ kids who nursed)
I am on my second pregnancy, but I was nursing when I became pregnant and can say that, in my case, my breasts have shrunk considerably since I have stopped nursing. (To give you some perspective: I was a 42DDD when I became pregnant the first time, went to a 44G when nursing, and am now at 42DD.)
Personally, I think you should be fine to purchase a bra at this size or, if you are planning on weaning in the near future, maybe hold off and see if you go down a size or two also.
You've both given me hope!
And gigantic breasts aren't all they're cracked up to be. Sounds like fun in theory, sucks in real life.
