Look at the expression on their faces! they look so happy! how awesome would it be to see how you parents reacted to knowing they were having a boy/girl?
What if they cried because they really wanted a girl? Or vice versa? That would be pretty sucky. I'm sure it's happened.
Dudes. I followed an older friend's pregnancy journey on her blog and she made no qualms about wanting a girl. They did the party with the balloon box and had someone film it (yeah, I know). Result? of course it's a boy - and since I knew she was hoping for those balloons to be pink I could just see it all over her face on that video - just... awkward.

Yeah, but aren't balloon releases really bad for the environment?
Their baby kills whales.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

I would pay money to see that video.
God I laughed so hard reading that I'm not the only one who wants to see it.
I'd like to see it too. I can't believe that someone who had a preference for gender would do that on video.
I was thinking that too. It seems like a semi-masochistic thing to do if you have a strong preference.
Re: Come on people, have a heart....
I know gifs are played put here, but this is pretty much my expression.
If it is done with mom, dad, older child, ok. Fine. That's where my line of acceptability is drawn.

You just have to have the US tech write the gender in a piece of paper and have somebody else do it.
lol
Their baby kills whales.
Also, this is all about AWing. And who has that kind of time? Really.
Since we are on the subject, and you guys clearly have no hearts, check this story about a gender reveal fiasco. It's hilarious, really.

I might consider doing something similar if my kids had a clue what was going on.
Only for them. And ONLY in private (just me DH and the kids). And I probably wouldn't take pictures.
