Dudes. I followed an older friend's pregnancy journey on her blog and she made no qualms about wanting a girl. They did the party with the balloon box and had someone film it (yeah, I know). Result? of course it's a boy - and since I knew she was hoping for those balloons to be pink I could just see it all over her face on that video - just... awkward.

I might consider doing something similar if my kids had a clue what was going on.

Only for them. And ONLY in private (just me DH and the kids). And I probably wouldn't take pictures.

God I laughed so hard reading that I'm not the only one who wants to see it.

I'd like to see it too. I can't believe that someone who had a preference for gender would do that on video.

I was thinking that too. It seems like a semi-masochistic thing to do if you have a strong preference.
