#1--What do you consider officially "sitting up"?
DS can sit unassisted for 2-5 minutes... But he'll still get distracted by something and loose balance.
#2--For those mom's that have babies that are officially sitting up. What does your child do when they are tired of sitting up?
I guess I'm asking--is it normal for them to just fall? Do they cry and want you to pick them up/lay them down? Or do they have their own--more graceful way of laying back down?
Re: A few more sitting up questions...
1. I considered sitting up when he actually sat by himself for a few seconds
I was proud he could do that now today he is almost 6 months old and can sit for long long periods playing with toys.
2. When he is done sitting he sometimes whines or he flops to his belly and scoots around in a circle. Or if he falls backwards I just laugh at him so he doesn't get scared and start crying...so far so good!
I considered Charlotte officially sitting when I could plop her on the floor and just let her play with no worries of her falling.
When she doesn't want to sit anymore, she lets herself fall over and catch herself on her hands. She does it with intent and rarely hurts herself doing it.
Fastest year of my life.
All of this.
