Anyone done with onesies?

LO squirms so much when I dress him, that I'm actually finding shorts and tshirts to be much easier to deal with. It's so hot here so I'm thinking he likes the extra air flow. And there are so many more tshirt options out there for boys. What are you dressing LO in these days?

Re: Anyone done with onesies?

  • Lucas has a mixture of onesies, shorts/t's, one pieces.

  • My guy is wearing rompers, mostly. I like the ease and how light they are for summer.

  • We use both onesies and shirts with pants. I would like some more t-shirts though now that it's getting hot so he can wear just a t-shirt with his cute cloth diapers!

  • Mostly rompers. Cloth diapers don't look awkward in a romper

He still eats his T-Shirt when he wears one, so we are sticking with onesies for now. :-)

  • Onesies and rompers still for us too. Sometimes a t-shirt and shorts. No socks or pants. Too hot! I only put socks on him at night now. He sleeps in a night gown bc I like the easy access for diaper changes in the middle of the night.

  • We're starting to transition to more tshirts, I think ihis wardrobe is 50/50 right now. I really like the rompers on him too.

O does this too and it drives me nuts! His shirts are wet at the color from drool & hem from chewing.

  • Around the house it's usually a diaper. Sometimes we'll have him in a onesie too.

For outings I love rompers! Super easy and he looks a little more clothed than just wearing a onesie. Today he's wearing this adorable Ralph Lauren one we got from OUAC.

  • I wish O could wear rompers but his thighs are too fat. I even went up to 18-24 month stuff & couldn't button it.

  • We have only used onesies maybe once or twice...DS sweats like nobody's business so onesies just make it worse. Plus we live in FL...it's way to hot for all those layers

  • Just a onesie (no pants) when we go out, and at home she's just in a diaper!! It's hot, and even with the AC blasting I'm sweating so I can't justify putting clothes on her!! (Less laundry for me too!)

Girls have so many more options for summer!

She wears dresses, rompers, shorts w/tshirts or just a onesie.

  • DS lives in onesies.  We also have a couple 1 pc rompers.  T-shirts ride upwhen I pick him up, it drives me crazy.

  • DS is mostly in onesies or rompers - I dislike t-shirts because they ride up - but I am coming to terms with the fact that onesies get less and less popular after 6-9 months so I will probably have to do more t-shirts from here on out.

  • We have a couple random onesies but we've been done with them for about two months now. We've moved on to rompers, dresses, and seperates.

  • DS is mostly a rompers guy, or a shirt and cloth diaper guy - it's way too hot here for much else! I do keep onesies around for grandparent/great-grandparent visits, because otherwise the tshirt will be up around his neck or the romper will be cutting off his crotch circulation.

  • Rompers or onesies/shorts for DS if we're leaving the house.  At home we tend to stick with just the onesie or even skip the clothes all together and let him hang out in his cloth diaper.  It's been super hot this week and we don't have a/c.
