I went in to the dr. to verify my hpt. When it came back positive, they also took 5-6 vials of blood. They were testing for everything under the sun just to make sure I was all good. I went back two days later for another blood test. This time it was to verify that my hcg levels were rising as they should. It was all good! They shouldn't have to take that much again.
Uhg, I know they are going to take a ton from me at my next appointment too. I am a bad blood giver so they typically lay me down and give me some orange juice!

This is my second so would think I would remember, but I totally forgot. Not my favorite activity at all especially when my vein stopped half way through the last vial and the lady is pushing on my arm to finish filling it.
My arm still hurts from Wednesday the lab Tech couldn't get to my vain in my left arm and after poking me like 10 times she had to use my right arm. I agree Renc9828 i totally forgot about the fun tests we have to do. I have to go back next wednesday as well for more blood work to see how much the HCG level rises... NOT excited lol

I also had 7 when i went a few weeks ago. My doc warned me tho lol. so i was sure to eat something, but still got lightheaded! But hey...CHECK that off the list!
Oh yeah! Not only that, I hadn't met my $1000 insurance deductible yet, so I got a $952 bill for it... it's an expensive one- so be prepared if you have a deductible you have to meet.
On the up side, after that round of testing, everything else is covered for me at 90% lol.

I had 10 when I went yesterday and it felt like it took forever to fill those up. The other patient next to me had had her blood drawn and left already and I was still there. I also had to do a urine test and as usual, it seems like I NEVER have to use the restroom when I need to get a urine test done.
