What do you use for your diaper pail? I have pail liners but I don't know what to put them in. I know a lot of you use trash cans--but do you use the kind with a step on thing for the lid or some other kind? Do you prefer a stainless steal can because of the odor?
Re: Diaper Pail/Trash Can?
I have a white plastic step can from Target. I usually place it outside to air out while I wash dipes and put a little Arm & Hammer deodorant disk in the bottom.
ETA: I wash the pail liner with the diapers. I push the whole thing inside out so I don't have to touch the dipes as they go into the washer.

I have a plastic step can with a mesh laundry bag on the inside.
That way I can just grab the bag and take it downstairs.
This guy... slim plastic, step-on from Amazon... fits perfectly between the dresser and the wall, out of the way and discreet.

ETA: My Grovia pail liner fits it perfectly.
We have the same trash can. I use Planet Wise and Kissaluv pail liners. I wash every other day. Never had any smell issues.

TTC 3rd and final!: IUI #1 in progress!
I have a white plastic flip top kitchen-sized trashcan from Target. I use Planet Wise pail liners, and carry the bag downstairs and dump it into the washer (turning it inside out). I let the trashcan air out for a little while before I put the new pail liner in it. There is no odor, except for when I ran into stink issues with the diapers and had to strip. I have a separate hanging wet bag in the bathroom that I use for sprayed poopy diapers now that DD is eating solids.
