Induction or Will she just come...

The dr office called this morning and they scheduled my induction for July 2nd.... My due date is Monday so I am keeping hope she will be here before they induce... I am a little terrified of induction because I really don't want to end in c-section. Anyone have any words of wisdom on induction and will they start with cervadil automatically or just start with the pitocin... Last Friday I was 1-2 cm dialiated 75% effaced and the baby was really low... I have been having contractions mainly at night and through til the morning and sometimes randomly through the day... I guess just wanting some information on induction or if where I am at now and the contractions I have had are signs I will just go on my own....

    This sounds exactly like me.  I was due on the 19th and am set for induction on Monday the 25th.  I am scared of induction.  I guess I am no help to any of your questions but you are in the same boat as me!  I am praying he comes this weekend on his own. Good luck!

    I am being induced on Thursday and they are starting with breaking my water since im 3cms and 90%

    I think there's a couple of us all rowing the boat together! Unfortunately my dear I don't think there's an answer for any of us...I've come to terms with the fact that I've trusted my doc for the last 10 months and so I'm going to continue down that path. I'm hoping for all of us that these LO's decide to come on their own - but if they don't trust that you and your doctor will make all the right decisions for your LO and you. 

    I'm being induced on Tuesday but I have to start with cervidil since I'm not even 1 cm dilated but I am fully effaced so there's that LOL!

    i got induced on june 5th & started on cervadil, i was completely closed up, and they gave me 1 dose & 5 hours later & my water broke on its own, & thr 6th in the morning they started me on pitocin, & my son was here at 323pm the 6th... & i started the admittin process at 3 so i was literally in labor & on meds less than 24 hours & it was my 1st child...i was convinced id end up in a c section so dont try to worry your body may just need a little help to startlabor!
